20th. February, 1913.
Dear Sir George,
You will probably remember that when I
had the pleasure of seeing you a few months ago about the
Kowloon telegraph question, I left with you for your con-
fidential reference, and return when finished with, copies
of the various Agreements which we had entered into from
time to time with the Chinese Telegraph Administration.
As an Agreement has since been arranged
between the Hongkong Government and the Company for dealing
with the Kowloon telegraph question, and the matter con-
sequently settled, I presume the Agreements are no longer
required, and shall be glad to have them returned at your
convenience.
Sir G. V. Fiddes, K.C.M.G., C.B.,
Colonial Office,
S. W.
Yours faithfully,
